Role

Mechanical Design

A tendon-driven robotic hand with tactile fingertips, built to make assistive grasping feel natural and safe.

A tendon-driven robotic hand with tactile fingertips, built to make assistive grasping feel natural and safe.

Touch as feedback

Each fingertip carries a 64-taxel sensor skin. The grasp controller reads slip before it happens and adjusts force within 12 milliseconds.

Open hardware

The hand is 3D-printable for under €400 and fully documented, so rehabilitation labs can build and adapt it themselves.
